Tools

You should always minimize how much you adjust to your tools,
and instead focus on making your tools work for you.

The best tools are seamless in my life.
They take no effort to use and achieve the specific task it’s used for.
No bloat, no nonsense.

Software is a tool – and just like every other tool, it needs to work for you.

Here is a list of tools I use and genuinely recommend to others on a daily basis.

My criteria are straight forward: needs to be simple, clean, seamless, save me time.

Notion

https://www.notion.so
Every aspect of my life is in my notion workspace – projects, book list, ideas, contacts, product instructions. And it’s free… Definitely expect to see a future blog post about it.

Yuka

https://yuka.io/
So important to know what you’re consuming, this app makes the process too easy. I’ve been obsessively scanning all items I buy to make healthier choices.

Monarch

Connects to your bank and lets you categorize transactions and see spending reports.
“When you refer others to Monarch, they get an extended 30-day trial, and if they subscribe, you get $14.99 off your next bill.”

Pikapods

https://www.pikapods.com
The easiest and cheapest way to quickly create a website that runs an open source platform

Glide

https://www.glideapps.com
Ever wanted to make an app? This is your first step. And very much could be your only step too.

Firefox

I cannot believe how long it took for me to discover the joys of firefox on mobile. You can install amazing extensions, just like you would on a desktop, like ad block, suggested reels remover, youtube shorts remover. And it’s faster on desktop too.

Wren

https://www.wren.co/join/petros <– referral link
I’ve been offsetting half of my carbon footprint for the past 2 years and offset approximately 14 tons of CO₂ .
“Wren covers 1 month of a friend’s subscription for each referral you make.”
